Allen it's good to hear from you as always. Based on your response I realized that I need to clarify my previous post.

Financially, things are on the up-and-up. Ironically I just had the best month of my life as a self-employed permister, but I think I'm going to have to take one of the two full-time job offers that I have on the table right now because I/we need the stability of a steady income.

One job offer is with a VERY well known company. The pay is enough to get by. The benefits are great. The second is with a very small company and I think I would like the work much better. They can pay me a bit more because they're not offering health insurance. That's fine for now as I'm covered through my wife's health insurance plan which is quite good.

Here's the rub: Thinking about taking the small business job has me concerned. If I were to end up getting a divorce from my wife, I wouldn't be able to afford health insurance on my own as I'm on red pressure medication.

It just scares me that the thought even entered my mind. We've been telling ourselves that things would get better once money was coming in. It is, and now will likely be coming in very steadily. Other issues that she has have been improved upon on my end as well. It's very frustrating that these "problem areas" have been improved on my part, but things aren't getting any better.
