social buttons moved to the right

how about moving it right OFF THE PAGE

If it aint broke, don't fix it ! Thats been a wise saying based on many misadventures in the past. It applies now.
WHY make changes to a site where users were generally happy with its function and role.

Mr. Big C,

We don't seem to be very effective at getting the message across about this toolbar. Perhaps you don't value the opinion of those members who care and take the time to give you the feedback on this very annoying aspect of your recent changes to this website? or perhaps you are getting some other feedback that is more important to you? Certainly of those who have taken the time to express their opinion, it seems like this floating toolbar is universally disliked. Do you ever use a smartphone or tablet to access this site? If you have, then you cannot have failed to see the source and wisdom of the feedback on this.

When you enlarge the text and pics on a smartphone, that toolbar you seem welded to, simply expands and centers right in the middle of the smartphone screen and blocks out everything else, it is virtually impossible to access your site now with a smartphone.

Then there is the issue of you moving it to the right! Where is there any logic in doing that? I don't wish to be rude, but who is advising you technically on this? Are you sure they know what they are doing? It has had no material improvement on the problem by doing that, and who in their right mind would have expected it to have!!

We write this type of feedback because, like you, we care about this site. Please look again at what can be done to resolve this foolish change, and take the time to respond in a meaningful and informative way to all the folks, who like me, have tried to reach out to you and help. Ignoring us is not working and neither is it very respectful to those who helped make this site a success.

You have done so much to make this site what it is, and yet we have this annoying issue which you seem to be failing to address, which if I may say so is most unlike the "old" you!

Yes, I agree. Please get rid of the social media bar. Or at least move it to the left so it does not interfere when one mouses to the right to scroll up/down page.

The only reamister I can see you keeping it here is if you get $$$ for every click (or hover over) each button. Other than that it seems asinine.

out of the six pages on this the majority do not want the social buttons when will the penny drop

Master69...that bar doesn't bother me at all...and honestly...Mr. Big is putting so much time and efforts into this site...he most likely deserve any cent coming to him...the alternative...a site with close to 100.000 members and probably millions of hits...is that we get all pop-ups, ads, and all other kind of bull-cuckolds brownie that this site is so beautifully free of...

Please show some appreciation guys...!!

I can live with that if that is the reamister. Get all the money you can w/o hurting the forum. However, why would Mr Big keep this a secret? Why not just respond and say that is why. I think we would all be fine if that was the case.

By not addressing the issue one starts to think it may just be an annoyance that is overlooked...thus the complaining.

The only thing that bothers me is the social buttons cover part of the screen making it hard to read unless the browser is wide. I would rather have them stationary in the header or something like that. They really are annoying, but I understand that you need them on the page somewhere.

Thank you for the great job you do on this site.

Respectfully: the problem with the social media toolbar would go away if it floated on the yellow margins. The problem now is that it covers a portion of the text. Moving it to the right was an improvement but it still interferes with the text.

The bar is so annoying I would not click on any of the sites listed
I would hope you could just fix it somewhere on every page

if this social bar has to be on the page put the redy thing :mad: just above the switch forum and just below post message then no one that does not have to see it wont and the people that want to use it know where it is

Curious about a new change, using Firefox 26, right-click opening pix in a new tab now prompts a download as "jpeg". Read some forums that say might be on the site's end. Sure was very convenient to have pix open in tabs. Still opens as html in left-click. Hmmm?

From the Firefox (Mozilla) helpline;

"Unable to set an automatic action

In some cases, you may not be able to set an automatic download action. This can occur when a misconfigured web server assigns an incorrect MIME type"

This is a server change preventing us from opening pics in firefox tabs.....

Im using a PC, and when I used to open an image it did on a new tab, but now the browser makes me download it. And the forum layout is weird. Dunno, these changes are kinda weird and annoying in some cases. Now just opening an image has become a nuissance.

was there any need to change the way that we want to view pics i have to agree with Burberryx what ever you have done to the opening of jpgs is a real pain in the arse it ranks with the social media icon that was here
and thank heaven that was removed

Left click on image just opening it

Right click checking...

Chrome. Right clicking to open image in a new page now just plain downloads it. Very annoying.
