.. Not sure if I like it or not.... I am not really big on changes... firm believer in when something works don't mess with it.... Just got used to the comments added to the header.... guess it was alright... got used to it... but then you flippped the 2 sections... a little more confusing... but didn't think it was that big a deal until last night when I was posting (been getting clicked off alot lately) but when I get clicked off now... I have to scroll all the way down to restart posting.... just takes longer... click offs bad enough and now this will just add more time... suppose i can get used to it... but don't really want to???????

Since I have been frequenting here more often, I like having the recent topics posted on top. Perhaps a compromise for those who like the old view and the new? Could the forum categories and recent posts be put in a "tab" view? or could there be an account setting that allows the view to change?

I am all for staying with what works, but as a former moderator of a forum, I completely understand the reamisters for needing to change things around. As this site seems nearly all about the forum content, with links to other sites, it seems logical to me to enhance the features that frequent visitors prefer. A good example of a site that went the wrong path (imho) is orgasmdenial.com. They went from a forum oriented site, to a content oriented site, only without so much content.

Anyways, MirBig, thanks for keeping things active and lively!

Love the new layout ... the new stuff is right there at the very top (i.e.: where one would normally expect to have it, rather than having to scroll half way down the page).

How can I see the old layout? It's very disorganized to not be able to find the different topic areas.

I am in the group that does not care for it. I liked the old layout.

All I see with the new look is the areas have done a flip-flop. We can still scroll down to find the different topics. I'm OK with either way you choose to display the site, and just like interacting with others who share a common interest.

Hate the new layout. I prefer to go by Forum, not by thread.

I will have to second those sentiments...the OLD familiar was better...so much for improvement!! We should not try to fix what isn't broken!!

I do like the new stuff on top, but would suggest we standardize on the format of the groups on the bottom. The who posted last, and when is important as one tries to follow a thread. It is difficult to pick out in the format at the top.

THEN, I have gone to the dark-side (MAC user), and have found that it sometimes shows formats differently than PC.

Sorry to say, I really, really hate it. I have selective tastes and come to this site to look at what is happening in particular kinds of threads. Unless I've misunderstood what I'm looking at, that is basically impossible now. How am I supposed to browse old Caption threads, for example? They must be buried pages deep in the current layout, all separated from each other. I have been a regular visitor for years; if it continues to have this layout, I may never come back.

Y'all just want control, and hate change.

In this case, the changes make the threads a higher priority over the forum categories, and make it easier to see the content of the threads on the main page.

Bottom line, it's faster to navigate to the latest content that you enjoy.

for me... my opinion... I don't like it!... for me it takes longer to post! when I get clicked off I have to scroll all the way down!............. just my opinion for what it's worth

Thanks for all you do Mr. BC but I am firmly in the camp of those who do not like it at all, much prefer the old way.
