Beta Caps.

So after being a long time caption fan, I recently decided to give it a bash myself. The main theme will be male humilation at the hands of there wives, girlfriends, crushes and women in general.

Now I will warn you straight up, these will be very long, wordy captions (I may even venture in to story type captions if these turn out ok and I decide to stick to doing them).

Also your kind words and constructive criticism will be appreciated, as I am a complete noob and will probably need some advice to help.

Anyways these are the first 2 so far, and hopefully you will all enjoy .

What a great start

My first and quite frankly pathetic/embarrassing attempt at a gif caption.

I also have a 4 picture story based caption that I will post later tonight, I would also warn you it's pretty strong/extreme. So be advised, but hopefully you guys will enjoy. Anyways here's the gif attempt.

It is always good to have some new contributors. Everyone brings their own perspective. However, I suspect I am not the only one whose eyes aren't quite up to the challenge posed by your font size.

Thanks very much. The gifs are a royal pain in the ass to be quite fair, if anyone knows of a good, easy to use site then it would be greatly appreciated.
As far as the pictured captions go because I'm quite wordy, I don't want to ruin to picture with text all over it and because of the models I use it's difficult to find more then one picture of the same pose to use. I like the picture and caption text to relate so the picture helps with the imagination and visual side, whilst the text gets the creative brain flowing imagining to situation playing out. That's why I started with a small font size.
But I will definately try to increase to font size, for sure, Thanks.

As promised, here's the 3 picture story caption I made. I did make this last night before my replies today, so if the text is small I do apologise. But hopefully you guys will still be able to enjoy them. I've just realized if you open these in a new tab, then you can see the the caption a bit bigger, it might help if your having trouble with the size of the text.

The black font on a white/light background is a good start. I notice that your caps are bordered top and bottom. You could cut out the top border, double the bottom, and place your text there. This would facilitate easier to read text, because you control the background and text color. Plus, you don't have to navigate around the subjects of the photo.

However, depending on the story you're trying to tell, you will likely run out of space. What to do? Smaller font is clearly a problem. Enlarge the border area? Sure, but a caption with as much writing as the photo? More of a story than a caption.

I've done many captions, and came to a few rules.

When captioning inside of a photo, don't text over the subjects in the image. Text around them, and if you run out of space, you've gotten too wordy.

When captioning in the borders, top or bottom. Set your border size, and if you run out of space, you've gotten too wordy.

Sometimes, less is more.

Sometimes, more is better. Heh,

Choose your photo, and usually an idea will form immediately. First impressions are almost always the best.

Write your caption, then choose the sentence or two that shine. The words that get to the point. The ones that speak to the idea or first impression that you got at the initial viewing of the image. If you still want to write a story, that's fine. Go for it!, but this should help you cut back on words when you feel the need.

Thanks very much, some useful advice.
I did notice the borders on the pictures, but the pictures are actually full size, when you click on them to bring them up on a different page the borders don't appear. Otherwise like you say I could just write the caption in the border.

The gif captions (and some picture captions) will be the kind of 1/2 sentence punchy captions. But you right, with my wordier captions I need to find a way to get to the point better, but I think that's something will come in time when I get better and more experienced.
