I've been thinking about that issue, norwegian.

Just speaking for myself now... I think I need a bunch of give-and-take when it comes to co-writing. Being in chat could work. But I only drop in on this site about once a day, and that's not interactive enough for me for co-writing.

I always attempt to use amateur pictures because for me, it makes it more real. The models that others use are truly beautiful and nice to look at, but it's just too hard for me to make that leap from fantasy to reality. Reality much hotter!

So I like to find amateur bondage pics as well as swinging pictures. If the models are too perfect I think its a dead giveaway that they are posed models.

I'm not criticizing what others like and produce, but I think that there's a segment of us out there who get more turned on by at least thinking that this might have really happened

I absolutely see your point...and many times - you are right...

The reamister I mostly use models is that they are professionals...meaning that they also sometimes have very special expressions on their face...just that little detail I am looking for...shy, blunt, happy, sad...whatever...

I am actually not so interested (sometimes I am) in the rest of the picture...many above say :"the picture talk to me.."...most often: it is the eyes...the face...the expression...

If I want to make a 'situation cap' (gang bang, swingers, a close up of a blow job...etc...), the picture may very well be of an amateur....

Thanks for input and opinion...any more opinion on this issue..?

Fully see your point Christine...

Chat would be difficult...time zones, etc...

But, you are of course free to 'repair' my caps anytime: maybe your repairs will inspire me, and repair your repairs..?

For me (as hobby photographer) the quality of a picture is very important. Most of the pictures are unfortunately bad. B/W pictures hide this point a little, fortunately. Processing pictures too.

Then, and I agree fully with norwegian, the picture has to talk to me, must express something. Devotion is perhaps the most important side of it. Even in the situation of a gangbang this can be possible.
I agree also with truehumilation that a lot of pictures are too "posed". But that is porno....
But, IMHO, if a picture is beautiful and expresses something, it may be artistic. That is why I like the pictures of norwegian.

I took dozens of pictures of my late wife with her black lover. They never posed for me. Disadvantage is of course that "true facts", like good close-up penetrating pictures, are rare then.
She liked I posted pictures and receive compliments about it. Where? In a member section but I keep that as a secret now. I deleted the rest.

My late wife liked to be well treated, mentally. Then she changed into a real hotwife and forgot almost always that I was present. (That doesn't mean she didn't like to be treated roughly physically. She liked that too.) However once she was gangbanged by a group of much younger guys without being kind to her. She kept talking about it. (We visited a swingersclub once in a month. It were her evenings there. And I...??? Watching, masturbating and powerd to kiss her with her mouth full of cum.)

Our, now unrealized dream, was that she would have a lover who adored her and she him. They really loved each other. He lived far away so she could spend weeks with him. They sexually owned each other and she would do almost everything he liked to do with her including bondage, watersports, "loaned" to his friends etc. They kept me informed by phone-calls and by sending pictures to me.

I wrote a long story about it which my wife liked very much. I'm now collecting pictures to illustrate this story or make captions of it. But finding good a good short text is a problem for me. An idea for you norwegian?

A last word: in captions one can read often the words "my wife..." but I rarely see the wedding rings....

I miss my classy (hot)wife..., almost for a year now. We had a very long and very happy marriage.
It will never be as in the past, but too, it will not stay as it is now.

A little about formats

This posting was inspired by Kenneth in his last comment in "Would it be hot for you Hubby...if...". After reading his comment (and a comment from Kenneth must be taken serious ) I sat down to reflect a little...why do I use the formats I use...

Kenneth: this is not an excuse...it's a reflection...trying to straight out my mind and think it all through...

As has been discussed by several in this thread is that a picture 'talks' to the capper...Ii think this is essential...

...and for me, its important to emphasize that part...it may in most cases be the eyes...or the face expression (smiling, joking, teasing, patronizing, humiliating, whatever make just that expression sexy...)...or it may be other parts of the picture...

I have been using what Don call 'Cuck Noir' for a long time...then I made some in 'out of focus'...and lately what I refer to as my 'new format'...

Some like the 'cock noir' better. I think it's makes great caps...but it has its limitations...in my opinion...its hard to make the focus...so this format required very good pictures...not much possibilities changes...the ides with the 'noir' part is to get a usable area for putting in the text...

Inserts in 'Cuck Noir' is messy somehow (again...my opinion)...its hard to find a good 'balance' in the cap...it will 'fall over' left or right...and thus a 'Cuck Noir' looses flexibility...

The 'out of focus' is what I use as "snap shot" caps...easy to focus 'very efficient', and quick to do in Photoshop...so if I see a picture that immediately talks to me...and a short text comes to my mind...voila...downloading the picture (10 seconds)...adjust the size of the picture (5 seconds)...focus the part which should be enhanced (takes all from 10 sec to 60 maybe...this part is what makes the cap good or not..so some experimenting has to be done)...putting in text (20 seconds including proof reading)...and 'snap'...the cap is made...

Both the two above formats makes in possible to hide writings which already is on the original...(name of photographer, model, magazine, etc...)

The 'new format' takes more time...the cap has to be designed in a different way...but it gives great flexibility for inserts...one thing I am very picky on is that the cap balances well...not too much inserts/text on one side...it looks like it 'falls over'...

Anyway...while reflecting some on this issue, I made some examples to clear my mind...here they are...

The "Snap Cap"...out of focus...

Actually, referring to this as 'out of focus' is because the function I use in Photoshop is called 'out of focus'...really, it should be opposite...focus is created...

Other formats experiments...

- frame plus simple area for text
- talking bubbles (here on 'saying' and one 'thinking' - knowing women, this is not always the same)
- combining pictures...same picture...one with high opacity making it a possible area for text (this is a way I see is popular for wallpapers...)
- same as above, but with two different pictures

Please give comments...and feel free to put in text in any of them...

Norwegian,

Unfortunately, I'm dealing with a permisteral loss right now, and so I'm not feeling very creative.

I'll be back up to speed eventually, but it will take a few days.

I use PhotoShape...its a very easy program to use, nad downloading is free and easy...but it has large scale limitations...one of them being the ability to cut out parts of a picture

I wrote this some time ago...that's before I found the crop function...BUT

Anyone have idea on how to crop circles..? or other shapes than rectangular..?

And e.g.: how to crop 'freely'...it making a 'free-hand' line around an object...and then crop..?

There is a function in Paint for the circle cropping....just couldn't make it work...

Norwegian,

If I were cropping something in M.S. Paint (which is what I use), I would do the following:

1. Click on the "Free-Form Select" button in the Tool Box
2. Draw the outline of the area I want to delete.
3. Push the Delete key on my keyboard.

That's for the version of Paint that I have, which I run in M.S. Vista.

I found out something I didn't know before...maybe a tip for other cappier's too..?

There is something called a SVG format...for e.g. clip art...there seems to be two types of clips you can find...those where the 'pic/illustration' is cut to form only the shape of the figure...so that the white/black square around doesn't follow when you copy/past on top of another photo...

...and there are those clips that are transparent...

Here is an example where I put two of them into one Magazine Cover...

...opinions..? Anyone knows more about this format..?

When you search photos on e.g. 'Bing' - there are loads of them coming up...for free also

anyone knows web sites where such formatted pictures are given away..?

So folks Norwegian asked for it and
now all of you are going to get it.
What are you going to get you say?
Well I say your going to get how
I put a GIF inside a Cap.

Like all caps the process for this one begins
with the image or in this case the two images.
I'll warn you now needing two images make
things a little harder.

I use Gimp as my photo editor. There is a
windows version and a Linux version. I use
it in Linux. Gimp is open source so it's free
and it has a lot of plugins that give it
functionality that it doesn't have out of the
box. Gimp is surprisingly powerful but not as
powerful as Photo Shop but still more powerful
than what I really need. See the image.

Notice that the drawing tools are on the
left window and the image tools, layers,
undue widow are in the right window.
You can undock the windows to let you
fill your entire screen with just the
drawing window and that will work
because almost all of the drawing
commands are available from the mouse
right click menu.

One last warning. What follows is how I
do it. I'm sure that there are other ways
and I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least
one other way that's better.

When I find the two images I'll open them
in Gimp usually using the mouse right click
“ Open in” command. I could also have just
opened Gimp and then dragged the images
into the Gimp window.

The next step is to decide just how you
want the cap to look. I almost always use
a landscape mode with the image 1150
pixels wide by 800 pixels high. I like big
caps but I don't want you to have to pan
around to see it and the 1150X800 image
is a nice compromise.

One of my typical caps has a woman
on one side or the other and then the
text is in the opposite side. Since you can
flip an image I usually flip them so one
image will have the text on the left and
the next posted image will be on the right.
I think it makes the forum page look nicer.
Yeah your right it's probably a bit anal
but I usually do caps in bursts doing 5-9
or so at a time and alternating the sides
I think looks nicer. Anal but nicer.

So usually the first thing I do is to
create the image that will be the
background for the GIF. You'd do it
just like you would any other cap
making sure there is room for the
GIF as well as the text. You'll of
course need to decide were the GIF
and the text will go. You'll also do
any image manipulation that you
think the background will need.
Again this is nothing that a normal
cap wouldn't have.

So once you background is done
you switch to the GIF. Now is the
time to scale or crop the GIF. Yep
just like a regular JPG. I've done
both they'll still work as a Giff.
Also you may want to change the
mode from indexed color to RGB.

When that's done you change the
GIF canvas size to the the size of
the background image and move
the GIF to were you will want
it in the cap. The weird thing in
this process is that what I've been
calling the background image is
actually inserted into the GIF.
I say it's weird because my first
thought was that the GIF was
inserted into the JPG.

Anyway when your happy with
your results you click on the base
layer of the GIF (sometimes called
background) and then add a new
layer. Then drag the new layer
to below the base layer. Your
going to use the merge layer
“down” command later so it needs
to be below the base layer then.

Make sure your new layer is
selected then copy and paste
the background image into it.
Sometimes I have to move the
pasted image around to center
it in the layer. Then anchor the
pasted image and finally merge
the original base image “down”
into the layer you just pasted
into. The merged layer is your
new base or background layer.
Got that? Almost done.

Add your text like you would
normally do for a JPG. In
Gimp text is always inserted
as a new layer above the current
active layer so when your
done with the text you merge
the text layer “down” into the
base or background layer.

Now in Gimp all you need to
do is export the image as an
animated GIF. I immediately
go to the exported image opening
it to make sure I in fact have
and animated GIF. If not
well then the fun really begins.

I know, I know It's clear
as mud...but it's what I do.

The GIF was provided by
Norwegian and I cranked out
the cap.

Yeah nothing special...

.

The Law.

- is it legal to caption images that aren't yours and re-post them?
- who's going to have issue with you doing that; the model, the photographer, the website you sourced the original image from?
- what if you blur or hide the models face or identifying features... does that make it ok?
- how much 'art' or manipulation needs to go into an image so that it becomes a 'new' picture, or your own work?

Thanks for your advice on this topic. smalljames

Hi smalljames,

1. is it legal to caption images that aren't yours and re-post them?
- With the exception of pictures that are in the public domain, probably not.

2. who's going to have issue with you doing that; the model, the photographer, the website you sourced the original image from?
- Whoever owns the copyright. That can vary, depending on contractual arrangements that you have no way of knowing.

3. what if you blur or hide the models face or identifying features... does that make it ok?
- Unfortunately not.

4. how much 'art' or manipulation needs to go into an image so that it becomes a 'new' picture, or your own work?
- Starting from originally nothing would make it okay. Making it completely unrecognizable might, but I'm not an intellectual property attorney.

I have a question for you guys. I have a thread called True Stories Caps (https://www.cuckoldplace.com/27_85648_1.html)

Since these are based on my real life I tend to use 'my' in the caps, but would it be better/hotter if I substituted the more generic 'the Bull'?

For example in this cap, should it read "her Bull's place" instead?

Either way is fine. In one case you are describing a situation, in the other it is the spoken word.
In the example you show, I would say in the comments something along the lines of 'hubby asked...'

I honestly don't think it matters.

If your thread is told from the first permister perspective, I would suggest staying consistent with that point of view.
