If I privately share pics with you guys where the people are obviously over 18, I have nothing to worry about. It's not commercial and I'm not the producer.
All you're doing is stirring up rumors and causing people to delete the very content that keeps them coming to this forum.
I do agree. This forum will surely suffer from such drastic measures. I do also understand your concerns, Mr. Big but this is -imho- too much paranoia.

It hurts the amateurs more than anybody, but they figured any slowing down off the porn industry is a good thing. The big studios just go overseas to do their taping. The bastards think just like criminals, but we pay them a salary to do it. In fact, if not for the "We Say So" act (the one that says the government can't be prosecuted,,,why? Because WE SAY SO!!!), there are several ongoing enterprises that would fall under the R.I.C.O. statutes where it could be prosecuted. I can name a half dozen presidents off the top of my head, going all the way back to 1812, that if they weren't presidents, and were tried for their crimes like a regular person, would've been toast.

OK Now that I've read all the way through 2257 I'm shocked this passed! What in the hell was this idiocracy thinking. How in the world am I suppose to get the records of a website in 1996 to find out if the girl in the photo is over 18? I would laugh at this if the penalty was not 5 years in jail, civil fines, or a combination of civil and criminal penaltities.
Why must the government feel it needs to control images of 18+ models so heavily? To go after me or another secondary producer for a woman that looks clearly 18+ is sexual oppression. 1984 for Bush, better watch what you think.
I believe the government did this to 2257 because they want the image "family values", the same administration who let mark Foley keep his job so long, the same administration that has hundreds of names on a Madams List for illegal prostitution. The same administration that listened to Ted haggard the gay bashing preacher caught having gay sex on meth. I've written a letter to my senator, and i hope others do to, because its my right to, and i will do everything i can do to protect me and my fellow people.
In the meantime, Mr. Big cuckold, do you mind if i continue my posts? I find it impossible for the government to prosecute if its impossible for the secondary producers(us posters) to get the license of a 25yr old woman copied and verified. I find it offensive for the woman too if she has her information posted everywhere, this hurts the models jobs, identities, and confidentialities to an extreme. To start a lawsuit over a non commericial posting of a woman over 18 is not ethical(to my standards).

Now you see what I'm talking about, they don't want you to be able to. When they wanted to get rid on Marijuana they couldn't find anything constitutional to criminalize it, so they taxed it, the tax was a $100.00 an oz (a bargain by todays standards), and with that payment you purchased a stamp (like cigarettes), to show you had paid the tax and had the right to possess it legally,,,problem was, they never printed any stamps. This is all exactly the way they planned it, when asked by reporters if they had a seperate agenda, they answered with a wink and a nudge,,,"ya know what I mean, heh, heh???

Can a man that owns somebody's wife claim he owns the rights to their pictures in compromising positions? lol
As for the actual matter (2257 compliance), that way, almost all posts would be gone ...

first of all, im not anti american...
Im anti governments that pretend to be liberal and enforce the rest of the world to be free....sing about being free in their national anthem, but cant stand it when people in that country have sex in a way that is still punishable by law. Stupid system.
