Do you get off on the thought of your wife not being in love you anymore? Does the thought of loosing everything you've built with your wife turn you on? I support her and work hard at keeping her happy, she does what she wants. So far she's chosen to stay with me. It's a balancing act just like any other relationship just that it's a higher wire.

There is no "line" per se. There are now three individuals involved in a marital relationship with each permister following their own agenda. What does wifey expect from this arrangement and are you and her lover on the same page? Once things begin, everything else now hinges on the dynamics of three permisters instead of two. It is impossible to know how the scene will eventually shake out.

The only serious "line" to consider here is the starting line. Cross that line and it becomes: "I shot an arrow into the air... Where it landed...".

I like your advice dino. If the marriage would suffer she will stop. If you trust her judgement enough and she really loves you she will keep that in check. You would also hope she is being fully truthful by telling her husband everything even if the truth will hurt.

I agree Masters 1950 it is a much higher wire with the cuckold holding a large balancing pole with angst, jealousy, resentment, and anxiety on both ends of it. I would venture to guess as the cuck gets use to the arrangement he begins to learn how to balance himself better. I would say your last paragaph in post #5 (above) accurately describes how 90+% of cuckold relationships begin. When a wife strays she tends to do so quietly. Should she find sexual enjoyment with other males and gain (or maintain) her self confidence and self esteem, she'll level with hubby. It boils down to a "take it or leave it" choice where SHE has drawn the line. The husband's balls have been stomped and his mind is in turmoil. It takes a little time for him to realize that a line has been drawn by wifey. He must now make a serious decision.

Basically, she has decided that she enjoys sexual attentions from other men; hubby will need to learn how to deal with her past and future infidelities. He can realize that he has, and will continue to be, played by her from now on. He leaves. OR... He stays with her, accepts her terms, and becomes her bitch.

A man who finds out his wife has been unfaithful engenders many intense and negative thoughts and emotions in his mind. It is very difficult to battle these feelings. What pleasure does he ultimately get from any of this grief? While wifey and lover are sharing the joy that should be his? When he's lucky if she'll allow him to eat a sliver of humble (cream) pie out of the deal?
