Cuckold Magazine - Would you be interested in....

I am just wondering if there would be much interest in an actual Cuckold Magazine being produced and what visitors to this forum think. It would really helping me in making the magazine a reality if users could spare some time to answer the following questions for me in reply to this post:



It would also be great if anyone keen commented on the following too:

1. Would you be happy with this magazine being in a PDF format?
2. What would you be willing to pay for such a magazine in electronic format? ($5/$10)?
3. Would you be interested in contributing articles/ideas for the magazine?

I look forward to hearing back from interested parties. Hopefully if the response meets expectations a Sample magazine could be sent out early in the New Year to those who register at a later date.

I would love to contribute some of my many stories about being Diane's cuckold.

I would be v. .v. v. interested in an actual paper magazine and would be willing to pay for it. If it were online I would probably read it if it were free but not otherwise. I don't find reading on computers enjoyable. I have thought about the idea of a cuckold magazine and how great it would be. I don't know but I would imagine with the increasing popularity of this lifestyle it would be a fairly savvy business proposition.

And yes I would be interested in contributing articles/ideas.

Would much prefer it to be all real amateur with net pics sompletely excluded. Do others feel the same?

Good to see some results for the poll. Am still trying to determine at what level of support it would make sense to take the idea to a concept phase - but have a Sample issue in the pipeline that will hopefully answer some questions people may have.

@slavecuckwannabe - the problem with paper is distribution. The idea would be a PDF format that can be printed out as per a magazine (I like to do this myself with PDF's I use, so that was the thought with the team). Maybe the Sample issue will serve as a test run for you. Your support is appreciate dwith the idea, and maybe you will be able to contribute once it is up and running.

@cumhubby - the proposal is that it is all amateur content, the team and sample issue is all based/written by in effect amateurs and the hope is that all the content will be contributed. Although advertising will be considered and used in the magazine, no paid articles etc or net photos will be used unless in stock articles (where the photos are just really to break up text etc.). - Obviously this depends and relies on content and accepting the nature of use.

I think, if you are going to charge for a magazine, it has to be of very high quality. You will want to take a real professional approach to it and keep in mind, this requires a fair amount of writing, editing, photographic and illustration s*******s.

If it is all amateurs contributing, it would come off as amateurish, and why would people want to pay for that when they can read all the amateur porn they want for free?

@cplnearottawa - thanks for the thoughts. We have experience with magazine production and have capabilities to produce well presented production. The cost per issue would be less than a cup of coffee, so it is not like the cost would be prohibitive. It is mainly to cover costs of hosting, and electronic distribution/management. It is then up to the readers if they feel it is worth the cost compared to what they can get for free. So in short yest we have experience but still appreciate your comments and points. So thanks for that input.

@master69 - as mentioned above the cost would be minimal and we feel people would be prepared to pay a token amount for the quality produced by the team and contributors. It is envisaged to be a mix of contributions from a regular team and the community - the team members are members of the community in many ways as well - if you get my drift.

Again - we appreciate all feedback and comments, offers of assistance and contribution. We thank all those who have taken part in the poll and will continue to monitor the results, but it looks pretty positive at this stage.

@lance092 thanks for the interest - currently the team are in design and article review mode, although some of the team have publication experience it is still an amateur team putting it together - the hope is to have a date for a Sample Issue by the end of January, with the Sample likely to be available around the end of February early March. Some issues around the best way of distributing the sample need to be solved too. It is coming though and we think it will be worth the wait.

good and well written stories about real people/experiences, without the extreme fetisjes

...and less than 10% of the content should be BBC related (unless real people can write some good realistic stories about some real IR (without that being the essence of the story)

There was a magazine called "Indecent" that was all about cuckolding.

Maybe you should take a look at those.

Unfortunately great ideas have pitfalls....before we get caught up in our enthusiasm like a new found religon, lest we forget the competitive streak between males that is not satisified in the bedroom stakes, it will only come out through the magazine as to who has the 'best slut', regardless of what we think, men are competitive and it will come down to this. Just look at the way males vote in the polls on this forum for instance.

For it to be a commercial success it needs to be heavily edited by women editors who can balance things out and give both sides equally, and thus it could be very globally. At that instance it would be worth about 10 dollars, but would need to be on a Playboy style format, not PDF! High quality in all areas, and how are these costs to be met? If 1/100 males are cucks, and 1/500 women potentially interested in becoming involved, does the business plan costings oversheet provide a profit margin for it to continue after the initial 2 year period where most magazines fail? And if so, what percentage of revenue on a global scale will the market allow for such a magazine to exist?
