Why is this guy being an asshole to her all of a sudden?

But, then all of a sudden one night she's out takeing with a girlfriend and they were texting..she told him she's be a while but was coming and suddenly he became hostile, and never turned back. It was like a light switch that he went from nice to jackass. We can't figure out if he's jealous of me (he knows of me, but not of the cuckold game...he thinks I'm ignorant to the fact, and that turns me on). So is he jealous of me, or just a guy who enjoys treating women like cuckolds brownie? Or is he just mental? Anyone every run into guys like that in your slutty adventures? I know this was long and probably boring as it's a permisteral occurance, but I was just wondering how anyone else handles things like this and do you have any similar stories?
