Well one thing I learned is that prostitutes in legal Nevada brothels have almost no incidents of contracting STDs despite having sex with as many as 10-15 different guys a day!! This is because of two things:

1. The girls are trained how to give clients a very thorough genital inspection before the fun begins.
2. Clients are required to wear condoms at all times.

I know technically you CAN still catch STDs after taking these two steps, but it's rare enough where pros are very seldom infected so the odds are good that a slutty wife can stay healthy as long as she is responsible.

So many people under-estimate the effectiveness of condoms. I suggest condoms as a "safe" option to the scaredy cats out there and is they say back is "Oh, they are not 100% safe", or "what if they break?". These are their excuses for a life of boring abstinence!

Condoms tend not to break if ample lube is provided, either commercial stuff, or naturally provided from the good woman.

I heard at one point in NC that there was a 3 year period where not a single prostitute had contracted HIV sexually- because of the assiduous use of condoms. It is impossible to know this for certain, of course, because some prostitutes do catch HIV, but they are often IV have users also. The estimate of zero sexual infections came from statistical analysis. A prostitute my wife and I know well does not rate STD's as an issue - but because her sexual practice is safe.

Having said all this, my wife caught chlamydia once - and that's because she got carried away in the heat of the moment!

PS I am interested in prostitutes also - perhaps i need to read HBO's cathouse. But this prostitute I know has given me quite a lot of stimulating material already!!

Well, yeah my wife caught herpes from a guy who denied having it. He may be telling the truth, because I understand you can have it and not know it. She'd been selling it off and on for 20 years or more, and took many chances, and did spend a couple of weeks in a brothel in Nevada while she had a regular job as a chemical technician. She used vacation time to do it. I loved her being a whore and looked forward to her coming home at night or next morning so that I could see that used thing between her legs, then use it myself.
