Girlfriend might take trip with her lover - Have you done this?

Hi, I'm not sure if any of you have read my thread explaining the relationship that my girlfriend and I have, but I'll give a quick background. She and I have been together for quite a while, and over the past 9mo or so she has been relaxing with my best friend. For the last 3mo they have been getting a lot closer and have been developing a real relationship. They have been cucking me more and are looking to expand our usual play.

She has been spending some time over at his place recently, and to move on and take things further, we are thinking about having them go away for a time together.


My question is - has your wife/girlfriend ever taken a trip with her lover, and how did it go? How long was it? Did you talk to your wife while she was away? Were you in chastity? etc.

Also, has your wife ever spent a significant amount of time away from home with him? Even just spending an extended time (a week or more) at his place? What was that like?

Those sound like great experiences. Luckily for us, we live in an area far enough away from family & most friends that it would go relatively unnoticed. I could also say that her and I are going away - I doubt anyone would notice that I didn't leave.

It's also interesting that despite all of the warnings and stuff on this site, the end of your marriage had nothing to do with that aspect of your relationship. Such is life, I suppose.

That is a very, very interesting point. It seems that many men, even in this lifestyle, are very afraid of their wife having a real relationship with her lover. I think I align with you on this though, and I encourage my girlfriend to do what feels right for her and him. So far, this has been to have a relationship with him that is not unlike a regular relationship outside of this lifestyle.

Also, if it were solely up to me, they would have that deep emotional connection to go along with their sexual passion too. IMO, he's not a 'lover' or 'boyfriend' without that - otherwise he's just a fuck buddy. She enjoys random hookups on occasion, but that's not what she wants out of her other boyfriend. She's also with my best friend now, so I want him to get to experience the fullness of her love as well.

Yes, indeed. And, for many men, that's a reamisterable concern. I understand where they're coming from, but it's not for us. For my wife, sex with strangers or casual acquaintances did not feel right. She needs to feel some romantic connection for her to feel safe enough to open up and enjoy herself. I've always encouraged her to do what feels right, rather than play out my fantasy.

What feels right for her is a full relationship, rather than a hook-up. What feels right for me is for her to follow her heart and take it as far as she wants. My girlfriend has always been one for commitment, and even though she is opening up to other people, this is no exception. I'm not sure how long we should do it for - either a long weekend or a full week. Long weekend would be easier for me to deal with, but a week would be a better vacation for them.


I'm sure that I'll be on her mind, but I'm not sure if I should 'power' her to think of me by making her call/text or by calling and texting her. I sort of feel like that would be intrusive, if she's trying to spend time on vacation with her boyfriend. I'm not sure if we should just say 'hey, call whenever' or if we should make it a point to not talk during that time so she can just concentrate on him.

I guess the problem is that I've never done this before so I don't know how jealous I will get while they are away. I know that she would probably rather just have the time with him, without interruptions. He said that he would MUCH rather not have me interrupting his time with her.

Does anyone have experience with either side of it?

Over the years my wife has taken quite a few vacations with various boyfriends and we both enjoy it. Most of the time they have been weekends away but once or twice a year she will spend a long weekend or a week with a lover. She likes the relaxed nature of spending more time with a lover and not having to rush home to me. I like the way she looks completely satisfied when she gets back, as if she had been at a spa.

It does take some getting comfortable with your jealousy. The first couple of times I was a wreck, but I've gotten much better and now use the time alone to get things done around the house. My wife loves returning to a spotless house and I'll frequently tackle some sort of project such as the time I remodeled her closet when she was in Hawaii for a week.

There's been quite a few times that she's stayed over at her boyfriend's place, even for a couple of nights in a row, so I do know how it feels. I think we've taken a bunch of the baby steps, and are ready to move on a bit more.

I guess the difference now though is that he lives on our street, so even when she is gone for a decent amount of time, I could go and get her whenever I want. Obviously this isn't the case when she goes away on vacation.

It took a little while to plan and figure out what we wanted to do, but we finally have something set!

We decided to start out sort of slow, and go for the long weekend rather than a week. Joe and Ang are going to go to Puerto Marques, which is in Acapulco, January 22-25 (well traveling the next day so it's 4 nights). I've been there before, so it was an easy pick. It should be a really good time for them though, nice, relaxing, and romantic.
