Biggest thing for me is how absolutely overwhelming the first experience was. I thought I was ready, but it was more than I ever expected, both enjoyment wise as well as emotions and jealousy.

NEVER EVER let your wife feel bad for the experience!

be aware of what your getting yourself into there are some pitfalls that are not expressed very often. we damn near got divorced when it went a little to far. be open honest with each other set rules and boundries. if rules are broke be prepared to deal with it. theres a point to play and theres a point where it stops being sex play and you have to get refocused. as a married coulpe or little kink is between us and who ever we allow in but also we have two young youngren we have to think about and never allow the two lives to blend in to each other if that makes sense have rules but have fun also

I wish I'd known earlier on that my wife would handle situations with such good judgment, maturity, respect, love- and passion! We'd certainly have become far more adventurous much much earlier in life.

Like Breakinglass, I wish I had known how adept my wife would be at juggling multiple lovers (including me).
