I was fortunate to work for a famous accounting firm that has branches worldwide. And we were able to travel to a number of countries while I worked my way up to senior management. My wife was not as ambitious. She did a diploma in tours and travel and worked briefly in a travel agency. She also seemed interested in working for an airline as a flight attendant but unfortunately it didn't work out. As mentioned earlier when she got pregnant with our daughter she became a full time house wife.
Our marriage settled into the normal routine of most marriages but I noticed my wife seemed a bit dissatisfied. Our sex life was ok but as I grew busy and started climbing the ladder at work it started getting stale and less frequent.
My wife is far more sexual than I am even though she didn't have much past experience. I could tell she needed more attention than I was giving her. The age gap was not that noticeable in the first 14 years of our marriage. But when I started approaching 50 I could see that she seemed to be restless and since our daughter was now growing up and needed less attention my wife was becoming bored.
I was now in senior management and my work load was busy. Financially we were in a good place.
