new to the site - having trouble with the rapidshare download - is there a faq for the newbie's?

There's nothing much to it..
-- Once u click on the link here on this site , u r taken to the rapidshare page.
-- There choose ur download option as "Free"
-- It will first tell u to wait for a few minutes ....usually 1-2
-- Then u will get a box where u have to put in the letters given on top... it chooses the download server on its own ... u don't need to do anything there..
-- Enter the word and click "download" ... n save it to ur hard drive ... simple!

well i've tried that several times and each time it says it can't play the content - windows searches for updated software and finds nothing. anyone else have this problem?

Can't play the content? Are u by any chance asking what to do once u download the file? If yes then is it a .rar file?

yes that is my question - real player wont work nor will windows media player.

yeah ... .rar is a file compression format ... u will have to unrar it ...
U could go through this site to download the software :
The hyperlink is visible to registered members only!
Install this software ... then once u do that u will be able to unrar the file and see the real .wmv or .avi file.
