why are hotwives called sluts?

Hotwives are getting the same amount of action as bulls are. Are bulls refered to as sluts? Why is it that we use empowering language to describe a man who is sexually active but use demeaning language to refer to a woman who behaves comparably?

I would hope that cuckolds in particular would show great respect for the wives who cuckold them. Terms like 'hot wife' or "cuckolding wife" can have the same positive connotation as 'bull', but I cringe when women are refered to as "sluts."

Are we putting women down when they act in the very ways that turn us on? Do we fantasize about women doing certain things, and then use demeaning language to describe them when they actually do these things?

Heck, I have seen plenty of posts on the web in which a woman is refered to as a slut merely because she had the audacity to enjoy her own orgasms! It's as if she should feel ashamed of herself for doing so, but men should feel a sense of accomplishment or conquest after we enjoy ours.

Of course, if a sexually active woman is thought of as a slut, I guess that justifies dishonest,disrespecful or hurtful behavior toward her by any self centered immature jerk who manages to get her into bed.

I think you are too hard on this. My wife per example is a self proclaimed slut. She takes this word as a compliment .She always says if the cattle is black, call it black. Nonetheless, your point is understood, and I'm not saying there isn't a double-standard -- there is. Old school thought says that this is a demeaning, insulting word. But as I got older I started using it to describe sexually liberated females, mostly because I never really encountered another word that did the job. To this day, my wife is not crazy about being called a slut, particularly by me. Early younghood made it a dirty word for her (she was called that a few times by her lady) and that is that. So to address the question of this thread, I'd say some cuckolding women liked to be called sluts, and others don't. Cuckoldress is too cumbersome a name--in my humble opinion--and people tend to like short, easy-to-say, names. Hence the common chopping of given names to short, one-syllable nicknames: Jennifer to Jen, Richard to Rick, Tyler to Ty, Michael to Mike.
