Everyone is different; but here's how it went for me (wife is Japanese). I used a dildo on her and would say, while in the middle of lovemaking with it, something like "what if it were real?" or "wouldn't it feel even better if it were a real one?" After that for some time I just changed wording to "I'd love to see you take a real one."
