Everyone is different; but here's how it went for me (wife is Japanese). I used a dildo on her and would say, while in the middle of lovemaking with it, something like "what if it were real?" or "wouldn't it feel even better if it were a real one?" After that for some time I just changed wording to "I'd love to see you take a real one." Even then, for the longest time she went along with it only as fantasy, till I just said one night "I really would!" then we talked about it a long time, and slowly she started believing me and thinking about it. She played for a few years then wanted to stop as she got older. I think her "good girl" instincts took over. But a few years of great fun and a great improvement in our relationship, being able to share anything without fear, since we had shared such an intimate part of life. She was never super active, either. one guy was a steady for a while, and a few others along the way.

I'm in a similar situation...
Some steps in the right direction have been through phonesex. Straight story telling can work too. Create a fantasy world for her, where she stumbles upon her ideal man who pleases her in every possible way. Or maybe she wants to serve her boss, and be punished if she doesnt perform well.
