REALLY wish it were in AVI, MPG2, MPEG...SOMETHING that would actually open instead of sit there doing nothing!!!
I have downloaded WINRAR and 2 others trying to get the damned thing open and NOTHING!!!
Wish I could get it converted to MPG2 at least, then I would be able to actually watch it.

You are on the right track with winrar. A rar format is used to contain multiple files within one file. To access them, first you need to extract the files using a program such as winrar.

There should be plenty of free rar extracters out there. Perhaps someone can message you with what they use. I use a mac so my suggestions wouldn't be much help..

I have already downloaded...then ended up deleting "WINRAR" at least 3 times in the past...it wouldn't even accept where I was telling it to get the file!
I have never had any luck at all with "rar" files so if it is this difficult to get one to open I won't bother. At least AVI, MPG2, MPEG etc are free, no hassle and open and play with just a "click".

Instead of getting angry (and we have all been there with computer problems!) perhaps you should try getting to grips with a tutorial on the internet. I found these two but I'm sure there are others.

Don't give up - it is just a matter of knowing how to do it once and then it should come automatically.

I went to "download.cnet.com" and downloaded the freeware "ExtractNow" which worked just great and opened without problem. Video was ok, it did have some different visual effects. I saw about 4 or 5 other videos here I like more though.
