I shared this story almost one year ago, and I realize I left out some details that some readers may find interesting. As I stated I was in the service (Aim High) stationed in Germany some years ago. A friend of ours in base housing was going on leave and asked my wife to fill in for her for a couple of weeks so she could see a little of Europe. My wife went in to meet her perspective boss, Richard, who was a black man running a communications business in the local town. Richard said that the cell phone was hers to use, call wherever she wanted with only one rule. When she answered the phone and heard his voice on the other end she would have to drop whatever she was doing and follow his exact instructions. Richard said he would take very good care of her at work in return for her being at his beck and call. In addition he gave Bonnie $1,000 as a wardrobe allowance and said he would tell her the attire he expected her to buy. Bonnie said Richard sealed the deal with a long wet kiss that lasted for minutes.
