Yes, wise words that any wannabe here should take on board. My wife and I had a few bumps along the way, though nothing as bad as what you mentioned with L and the VP. Letting fantasy spill over into real life can have its disadvantages, life often getting in the way, family, careers, etc. That third party may have a different mindset to that you and and wife have previously discussed, planned or expected.
