better so might as well just quit...and like

Yep - there are some images that I just can't abandon, in spite of the color/contrast/brightness. I sometimes spend a lot of time (an hour or more) selecting troublesome areas and tweaking color and brightness, until, like you found, I can't improve it significantly. I have to convince myself no one else will notice, but it still bugs me.


I don't see any issues with this one, and I'm very picky. And yes, sometimes cropping to fit without losing the message can give me headaches, but I'm often surprised that a new crop improves it as well. I sometimes convert a B&W image to color, selectively filling in areas by hand with Paintshop Pro or Photoshop. That may be a day's work! But it's still fun...
