Actually, I'm not sure it's ever come up here in this message thread. Thanks for asking.

First, a short clarification. She specified years ago that she would never get married again. So she's my girlfriend, though she knows I would marry her if given the opportunity. She also specified back then that we would have an open relationship. Those were things I would have to accept to be in a relationship with her. I readily agreed, of course.

I have not told her about this thread, even though it's been going on for a lot of years. She probably wouldn't be surprised. But I suspect her reaction would be that it's silly. And she might be right.

I also don't want to have her tell me to stop posting to it. That's for a few reasons.

I'm glad that I survived January!

It has been an unusually chilly winter here. We're not out of the woods yet, but it'll keep improving.
