I do suspect the number is up higher than usual due to the klarger number of women answeering in the afirmative, but I would be inmterested in the source of your stats. The survey is interesting. 1 in 5 does seem high, but it takes 2 to tickle, so that'd make it 2 out of 10, not so improbable. If a permister has more than 1 affair, is that counted double? So that's how the stats could go up.
Not to mention, it doesn't have to be an affair does it? Just normal dating could easily run up the numbers.
I'm sure it takes all kinds, but generally pretty girls get hit on a lot and eventually, with all those opportunities, something happens.
I got to know a real beauty, though I wanted more, we became close friends.
She'd worked at our big company about 5 years before I got to know her.
She looked like the nicest sweetest thing, she had 2 degrees, so started work in her later 20s and was married in college. She said she was overwhelmed by the attention she got from the guys in the office. It made her feel good and so desirable. Also now that she was making real money, she started wanting to live a little and also buy nice clothes for the workplace.

Eventually they got divorced and she had a summer of what she called being the 'gay divorcee'. She fell in with some other single/divorced women who went out a lot. She ended up going out with 3 different guys, all from work, and all screwing her, she said each about once a week.
After a couple months of that she went out with just one guy for a couple years. So sex in the workplace goes on out there! I was pretty amazed she was capable of all that.
