It seems that this idea of posting captions on pics we find around the internet has gone the way of so many other good things that people that enjoy the sorts of things we do find. As with some of the others here I have decided it is not worth the possible legal and permisteral ramifications that someone actually trying to enpower this law here might cause, and so have decided to take down my captions. I do appreciate all the wonderful comments you all have given me here and in private and would still like to chat with any of you who are inclined to. I am in Maryland so any of you close that might like to meet I would love that as well. Please, if you would like, send me a private message here and we can exchange emails and talk more. I had an amazing amount of fun doing these captions, but I guess all really good things come to an end.

what if you just include a statement about where you got the pic from. Like a discalimer. That you found it posted at bla bla bla site and captioned it.
The caption makes the pic anyways....
