Hi, my partner has said it's ok for me to have sex with someone else but I'm 40 and a bit over weight and out of practice with the whole flirting thing. And I just wanted to ask how to women get the confidence to face the possibility of rejection?

dognamedabu - thanks for the advice, but don't you think there are so many young easy sluts out there that any woman who leaves a man wondering or makes him do all the work is just going to miss out? Men seem to want instant results and I'd love to have a guy panting after me wondering if I would allow him the pleasure of my company, but men either turn into obsessive stalkers or they get distracted by an easy catch and turn away.

jamesriske - I have already lost a lot of weight but if I waited until I was skinny to have fun then I'd have to wait a while longer. And one thing I've noticed is that losing weight doesn't make me any more confident.
The other thing I've noticed is that a lot of men don't bother losing weight to please a woman, they expect to be taken as they are.

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement.
