realistically we can't give advice without knowing more like someone pointed out earlier, but (while a huge and possibly difficult step) it seems like it would be a good move to make it public..

I know this is a response to an old post, but she is right on the money, totally acceptable as far as I'm concerned! That's an outfit guaranteed to attract the right kind of attention.
