FantMstr I see where you're coming from. Honest communication is always better. But EssexCouple makes reference to desperate measures, which leads me to believe he's already tried to discuss it honestly with her.

However, I don't think it's too deceptive. The only thing EssexCouple is really doing is providing the initial note that will put his wife in touch with the other guy. The other guy could have just as easily placed the note on her windshield himself. Other than the initial note the whole thing could have happened on its own.
