using windows 8

why is windows 8 such utter crap, especially when using it to access a (fantastically good) site like this?!?. It won't let you out of a photo without going back two steps: and every time you go out of anything it takes right back to the top of the page, not where you left it

Windows 8 is not selling very well and has had the mixed reviews from permisteral users, businesses and hardware manufacturers. It is a powerful operating system, but it's also perplexing to new users. I suggest you update to windows 8:1 which is free from the microsoft website (beware it takes ages to download and can mean uploading your old software after!). One of the reamisters is that 8:1 includes the return of the Start button as a familiar point of navigation (this is not on Wins 8).

I suggest you stick with it if you can and find out from user and microsoft websites how to permisteralise it to your taste.

Might be worth using a different search engine such as DuckDuckor or Vivaldi, they both use less memory than most and neither track you
