I may be wrong about this, but from reading what you have said, I would say your marriage is over; if it ever was a marriage in the first place. Your statement that she now has financial independence by itself could be the kiss of death for your status as husband and wife. I think she will continue to let you hang around so long as she can take her frustrations out on you and/or so long as you perform mundane chores for her like taking off her boots.
