I hate captions...

They obviously appeal to a larger crowd, but I hate seeing an otherwise awesome pic (sometimes hard to find ones) otherwise ruined by someone's blurb text. I prefer to use my imagination in the scenario....how'd they get there? What transpired to make it happen? Is it casual or was this planned? Is she really married?

So please, if you post captions frequently, also offer a 'clean' version!

I agree to some extent. Captions are great if they are really well done. Now, quality in captions is ENTIRELY subjective. For me, there are only certain aspects of this lifestyle that I care for, and it often times spoils a good wank for me to see a really hot picture, click on it, and have the text be a fantasy that I don't indulge in that completely *******s my erection. I have found captions that I do enjoy, it's just entirely subjective. Crudely photoshopped/MSPainted texts don't help. My favorite kind are with the text in a seperate white bar on the side with black text. Easy to read if I want to, easy to ignore if I don't, and it detracts in no way from the photo.

You gotta be kidding! with the millions of pornographic images online, you're complaining about captions? did you know there's a forum here thats just for images and videos? thats where you find "clean" images.

The caption forum is FOR captions. Nothing should change except where you seek out your images. If the post has the captions icon, dont click on it, its that simple.

I agree with this point. I often would use a photo to show my Asian wife as an example of what we would do, what she should do, what I have in mind when we adult play with other couples or women. When there is text over the photo it distracts from the image I'm trying to convey to the wife.
Also, I've yet to read a caption that was more erotic then I could dream up.

That's pretty much the point of my spiel about different fantasies. My fantasies are permisteral, and even if someone else shares the exact same fantasy and makes a caption of it, the wording will be different and it just won't 'sync' in my head. It's like watching a badly dubbed movie!

I agree, professor. One nuance can make or break a thread or post. Maybe I am being idiosyncratic but my sexual preferences are wide and varied so lots of stuff here appeals to me. However, even a quick perusal of regulars' interests does sadly prove that some (many) have a narrow, almost esoteric, fantasy/reality range/experience and can't break free of the restricting mould. No offence to any individual.

I do like many of the captions that are offered...of course, many times I do not like them, and then having a 'clean' copy alongside would be appreciated.

Particularly for making own versions of captioning...

I agree with the comments here, that sometimes they don't match up to my fantasies.

My PERSONAL hot button, that which is the most frustrating and disappointing (for ME) is when there are typos or misspellings in the captions. That's a huge turnoff for me.

I'm not saying everyone should be like me, or that everything must be spotlessly written and edited. It's my issue, but it detracts from my enjoyment of an otherwise interesting picture and caption.

I feel compelled to point out the obvious, you’re being critical of caps which are being posted in the Captions thread of this forum for others with like interest to enjoy, not to be confused with pictures which are being posted in the Pictures and Video thread for those who prefer pictures.

That said, to the extent you’re talking about text encroaching into the picture to the point of being distracting or worse written over important elements of the picture, I can understand you why you would find that undesirable. On the other hand many of those who do caps use borders to include their text which are simply placed along one side the picture. If you see a picture of that type you like and would like to enjoy without text it would only take you a few seconds of your time to edit it according to your taste.

I agree. There are certain fantasies that just DO NOT work with certain pictures for me. (i.e. very brazen looking women with a caption that suggests innocence and inexperience. If she is eyef***ing the camera, how can I really believe she is a little angel?)

This is very true. If there is one in which there is no superimposed text, then I do so. However, the only thing I'm bitching about is the rare photos that is burning hot AND has superimposed text that doesn't really do it for me.

The fantasies expressed in captions are so banal that I have trouble believing the caption writers are real cuckolds, or ever get away from their computers. Viva real life. I'm with the original poster, what I can think of about picks is WAY sexier.

I disagree, of course I do them, but for people who ask me to. I do them for those people and if other people like them then that's cool. If you don't then don't look. It's really easy. The real problem is that many people (men mostly) think that everything is all about them and that everything should be the way THEY want. (Or they think the internet is a bar and I will meet them JUST because they asked like a cave man) I permisterally do them to keep myself horny for my real life. I prefer cooperation in my porn. If you don't then there is plenty of stuff you can do on your own.

Really, are you kidding? The caps here are amazing, I think we should be greatful for the people who take the time to make them. If you dont like them feel free to go to the millions of other sites that just have pictures.

Nothing is perfect, I hate the whole black guy thing but why complain when someone is putting in so much work.

Bootyz: Are you talking about powering captioners to post a clean copy along side the captioned pic? To power someone who is already doing something for free? That is the complete wrong way to go about it. These great captioners on this site have taken time out of their permisteral lives to do this for others for free. Don't forget...they don't have to do this.

Yes, obviously we should pester the admin into banning captioners that do not immediately offer a clean copy. That is completely not retarded and absolutely inferrable from what I wrote, certainly!

Since it apparently was not obvious, I will say what I wanted *and* how I'd like it to happen;

1. I'd like a clean copy of certain images that I like, for further exploration in captioning.

2. When I see such an image, I will *ask* the original captioner, in a nice and polite way, if he could provide us with a clean copy. Not because I hate the caption and think the captioner should die horribly because he did such a lousy job of it, but because I'd like to explore some ideas of my own, and I think it's a nice picture to base it on.

Hopefully, everyone would start doing that, and a culture for sharing clean copies of nice images would emerge.
