I have several VCR tapes of my wife with various guys and would like to post.....what kind of equipment do I need to convert to proper format to post ...what is the proper format...any help would be appreciated and I'm sure all would enjoy watch her

possible steps:

1) copy content from VRC tapes to PC
2) convert (compress) video files to DivX or XVid format (much suitable for online)
3) upload it to file freehostings (like rapidshare.de)
