Hi,
looking for info on software advertised on this site for cleaning unwanted files from hard drive etc.
About to change jobs and have to hand back my laptop.

Try Ultra-wipe. It has a setting that is Dept. of Defense standard.

can you hand a new formatted laptop back to your company?
if yes do a power format, best choice, clean sweep or ultrawipe will get rid of crap but it won't find the porn on your machine for you!
best bet is a reformat and send it back and say it does not work.
I have to assume a lie won't bother you, after all using someone elses computer for permisteral business didn't!
Hate when people do that! (probably evident)

If you only reformat it, the lost files could still be potentially recovered.
Although I don't know how likely that is.
