My ex wife got them from a friend who worked in a urologist's office. They were doing testing on the device in preparation for release onto the market. This was in early 90's. They were to be used for consenting couples as part of the approval process. My wife's friend took some from the office and used them with her boyfriend, told my wife about it and then gave some to my wife. I was reluctant allow her to use this at first, but she convinced me after a period of abstinence. Our friend came by to properly size me for the device (there are several sizes). It looked much like a bladder catheter with a very short condom on the end. It was shorter than a catheter and stopped just above the prostate.
