Exactly,,,initially you just have to indoctrinate the ********, they grow up and instill it in they're kids, every now and then you get a black sheep that asks a couple of logical questions,,,gotta get rid of him, so you accuse him of blasphemy and that gives you the right to destroy him. Muslims want to **** Christians, English Protestants want to **** Irish Catholics, Chinese have it out for the Tibetans,,,and whoever is left seems to agree the Jews gotta go. Now,,,take away religion,,,would the Persian down the street **** the Italian cause he ate a pork chop, or a Brit who'd **** an Irishman for eating roast beef and cabbage,,,would you **** a guy for eating bagels and lox? All those hostilities are a direct result from the need to eliminate, reinforce, or create various religions,,,the best thing that ever happened to mankind, which eventually became the worst thing that ever happened,,,

Dear Multi-orgasmic Mary,
I can't get over how beautiful and smart and curvateous you are today compared to your early years. I was looking at various videos when you were called Mary Carey compared to today. John is a lucky man to have found and married you. The two of you are obviously very compatible. He is very attentive to your needs.
One does not need religion to be a good person. At some point within your upbringing, you can say, "I get it" to yourself and follow your inner compass. I try to be open to new ideas and new logical patterns people follow. I am a scientist, so I think very logically. This is where the faith business loses me and my wife. When the faith advocates describe the Earth being created in one week, that is based on early different religions giving themselves accreditation. When they talk of the virgin Mary, the early Greeks had the same thing when their soldiers who are married go off to war. When they come back their wives had a ***** that could not have been theirs. Rather than blame it or the butcher They said the gods came down and knocked her up. It was better than getting stoned for her infidelity.
Regarding Mary, ****** of Jesus, I understand she had a taboo relation with a Roman centurian who couldnot marry her and later died in Germany. But they found poor Joseph who was religious enough to believe anything. So he married Mary despite he being pregnant. They said she had a virgin birth, just like the many Greek births. Who knew?
I agree with you that religions cause more suffering in this world than anything else. How else are you going to convince someone to sacrifice there life, but the promise that the dead hero would have a glorious life after death. What a crock. I was raised a protestant, but the facts of science got in the way of faith. A young preacher with a beautiful young wife and two beautiful *****ren got aids in the early days of this disease through a ***** transfusion. Unknowingly, he gave aids to his young wife. They both died at an early age leaving beautiful *****ren for someone else to raise. He was very religious. What is the religious significance of this? You can say, "God works in funny ways." I am not laughing.

Both my hub and I (him being mixed Italian and Irish, and me being mixed Italian and Puerto Rican), were both born and raised Catholic, and we both had the same experience as you. At in early age while attending Catholic school (complete with nuns), logic started to get in my way,,,having an enguisitive mind, I searched for a logical possibility, then claimed that the Bible was merely parables,,,set up with a bunch of "the moral of the story being",,,scenarios. Like God took Adams rib to make eve, not because she should stand ahead of him,,,nor follow in his shadow, but so she'd always be by his side. And when you say God made everything in 7 days,,,it's possible they used a scale unknown to man, who knows how long one of God's days are? Science tells us they're at least a couple of billion years each. Needless to say this didn't go over well with the nuns,,,and the $hit really hit the fan when I brought up Adams first wife Lilith. And that's just a paragraph of the "God works in myseterious ways" cop out. There's whole books on the subject,,,that's why I basically lean towards Ancient Aliens at this point,,,actually Kurt Vonnegut sent me on that path years ago. The comparisons to ancient myths and foundations for religions to a tribe near Borneo during WW II are uncanny. During the war we air dropped food to the tribes (manna from heaven so to speak), when the war ended, so did the dropping of food. Thinking they had angered their God, they built a shrine to it,,,with twigs and branches, there's little difference to it's appearance than that of a Piper Cub (something that had never landed on that island,they had no idea what it was, just that when it went by food appeared). Bingo,,,we started a religion,,,so that's why the Federation frowns on violating the "Prime Directive",,,LOL For some reason I got the feeling you'd appreciate that reference.
