Was just thinking back to when my wife was first finally ready to play. I'm white, she's Asian. When she finally started thinking she'd play with others (my wish), she let me look for someone online at or near the swing club we'd gone to. I met a guy who happened to be black....wasn't sure what she'd think. So once I got to know him and thought he was a great choice, I approached her and told her I'd met a guy, then ask "what do you think about it being interracial?" She laughed and said simply "we already are!"
True...It just felt very different for her to be with me vs. black. I just always thought that was cute.

skellyf Yeah... it's interesting how we perceive ourselves, huh? But the good news is that since you were already "interracial" in her eyes, then hopefully she was open to moving forward with that black guy.
