Found my girlfriend has a profile on blackplanet.com

I searched my girlfriends screen name one night randomly and found she has a profile on BlackPlanet.com.

I'm not sure if any of you are a member of BlackPlanet.com but I was curious what kind of site this is? Is this mainly just a social networking site or is there a lot of hooking up? From the webpage it looked like it was mostly for black people but it does have an option to be listed as white so I assume its open to anyone. Just trying to figure out exactly what she is doing on there. She's apparently been a member for a while and the account apparently has been active while we have been together. Thanks in advance!
