My wife and I are a white couple in our 30s. We are happily married and I don't want to do anything to hurt our relationship. Sorry that i'm not a wife, Jim B, but i do have a suggestion. Why not invite the nice and muscular Black friend over as your wife has suggested. Then if they seem comfortable with one another try to let them have a little bit of time by themselves to get acquainted. For instance, if you have your Black friend over for dinner maybe you could offer to do the dishes and clean up in the kitchen while the prospective new couple sit together in the other room.
