You could really have a blast with this one. Hmm. This is an interesting question. In fantasy, absolutely. Of course it is really hot to think about. In real life though, I think about the logistics and real life complications too much.

How do feel it could fuck up the child? Since I have had a vesectomy my wife and I felt this was the perfect way to have a child together. She just plays without protection, and won't tell any of the other guys if she does get pregnant.

I think the child's well being is largely determined by how the parents act. If Joe were to suddenly decide he doesn't like the idea of another man raising his child and want to be more involved, then yes it's easy to see how the child could end up hurt in the ordeal. Me personally would not want another man raising my child.

It just depends a lot on how the parents are -- if everybody is cool or blissfully ignorant, that's one thing. The flip side is a custody battle and a child who grows up confused about his parents being married in 2008/9 and him/her being born in 2010, etc., wondering how/why his or her dad is not the man their mom is married to.

For those who can pull it off successfully and raise their children in a healthy and stable environment, great (especially since it makes for fun reading on this site).

Yeah, I guess in mred4682's case, if you just don't tell the other guy, I guess there wouldn't be much of a problem.

If the situation was different, and it was possible that the child could find out, or the other guy could change his mind, etc. It could potentially be a problem in the long run.
