DNA tests were performed on Cheetah cubs and apparently almost half of the time their DNA didn't match their father's. The female Cheetah is apparently a serial cheater!

Speeking from South Africa & having a degree in Nature Conservation & Animal Physiology I have to say that unfortunately NJ_Cpl you have half the facts.

All Cheeetah share more than 50% DNA because somewhere in their evolution the species nearly died out. Their number is estimated to have been less than 10. After the species recovered they shared DNA because of the inbreeding.

PS: Not that I have any problem with the serial cheater, as long as I can watch.....
