not just mining, i'll have you know. nay...they used to have slagheaps in the shipyards as well. basically, once coal is burnt, that's what you're left with - slag. If i'm not very much mistaken meladdio. I know, we used to play on them as kids when we went oop north. Given the choice between a playstation and a slag, I'll take the slag...lol
