Thanks for the 'education' james. I have a 'friend' that belongs to another forum. Does anyone have any objection if I post links that she sends me? I read the rules here and I don't see anything in the rules against it. To answer your last question - no, don't start a new thread unless it is completely off topic, or James asks you to.
It's much easier to track additions to a single thread.

Thought I might be able to shed some light on you vidcap problem. Are you using a Mac? Up until the last time, it looks like you were uploading a .png file which is from QuickTime (Apple....Mac) so people can view it in a new window because they probably have Quicktime and/or the plug-in for the browser they're using on their PC. You labeled it as a .jpg but, the thumbnail probably isn't showing up on your post because the forum doesn't accept the .png format even though it did actually upload. These are the only formats it allows for uploading:
Images - BMP, JPEG, TIFF - maximum of 300 Kbytes,
GIF images - maximum of 100 Kbytes,
Movies - WMV, MPEG, AVI, QT - maximum of 2 Mbytes
The last time you posted you said you used the .jps format and I don't know what that is unless you just mis-typed .jpg or .jpeg. I don't know if you realize that although it's viewing in the forum now, it doesn't have a link with to enlarge it any more...not only can you not right click on it any more (and view it in a new window) but, you can't left click on it either (and view it with the forum's window/pop-up) which you could do before (because it still was using the PC's browser to do it even though the pop-up was through the forum).
Just letting you know....hope this helps you out.
