This has been an erotic topic for me, but I prefer a more subtle approach.
Rather than a hardcore cuckold, I’ve enjoyed the hotwife scene.
My wife (and at least one previous girlfriend) got off on the pregnancy-risk thing, although it was usually with me. Not sure how well they actually realized or would have admitted it. But their behavior told all.

As I recall, the subject only came up a few times.
There were a couple of cold hard discussions we had about the possibility, and how we would accept the responsibility.
Then there were the sexy times, with my wife and I alone in bed. She would tease me about having “Derek’s baby”. What would the neighbors say, let alone our families. The child would resemble her, but probably with a darker complexion and little resemblance to me!
“Sperm Donor”, would be our obvious response with certain truth.

Perhaps there was more a chance of this happening than what I could have imagined at the time.
More and more I read articles about the females of our species have a tendency to desire sex and impregnation from males other than their usual mates. Sure, it’s nice to be safe at home with comfortable hubby. But the allure of a naughy affair with some exciting playboy is apparently very strong.
While deep in the throes of passion with Derek, how close did my lovely wife come to giving-in to letting him impregnant her.
Now, years later, it really turns me on to wonder.

Sometimes I regret that my wife did not have a baby by Derek.
After our two kids had left home, with a case of empty-nest syndrome, we had toyed with the idea of having another child. I had a vasectomy, but reversal of the operation was medically possible. We finally dismissed the idea.
Now years later, well after our divorce, I wonder (like now after a few beers) if we had had that child - even the fruit from Derek’s loins, would it have made a difference in our marriage. Just one more bond that would have kept us from moving apart from each other.
The kid would have been spoiled rotten. I would have been the father (even if not biologically). My wife would have really enjoyed raising another child. I could see the wistfulness as she watched other young families go about life as we once did. Derek was a great guy and expressed that he would have been glad to have been a sperm donor for us.
After our sharing relationship had finished, he ended up marrying another woman and had three kids! I know he must have been very fertile and could have no doubt knocked-up my wife, “done the deed”, quite handily.
Well, that’s all water under the bridge. Nowadays I try to avoid the painful “what if’s” and just remember all those erotic memories.

Like you, we've played around the edges and the risk of pregnancy, no matter how remote, can heighten a sexual experience. If one thinks about it, sex is all geared toward impregnation.
In our sexual ramblings through life we humans like to paint sex as pleasure, intimate bonding, tension relief, personal expression, marital union, etc...
But it's really about making a baby.
When you strip away all of the intellect, and acknowledge the basic instinct, one can find a layer of sexual eroticism that is seldom experienced.
Your references to wives who develop a desire to "mate" with men other than their husband is well documented. Husbands that make the best providers, caregivers, and fathers are, as a general rule, more intellectual, sensitive and intelligent. On the other hand, healthy babies are fathered by the largest, strongest, most physically attractive men. So... women prefer lifelong pairing with good providers, but will always feel that underlying craving to mate with that good looking stud they cross paths with. Nature is funny that way...
No need pining over your past decisions. Even later in life the addition of a child seldom solves underlying problems in a marriage. If it wasn't meant to be, then it just wasn't. Had you had that child, it's pretty likely that child would have parents living apart now... so it probably worked out for the best!

I remember a couple of instances while she was seeing Derek, that my wife’s period ran late.
We weren’t too concerned, we were taking all the precautions.

You're absolutely right... it is very primal, which is why the fantasy can be so intense. There's nothing corny about it at all. It's just too bad that you have to be drinking to bring up the fantasy and get into it... LOL

I don’t care for at alot of the content on this and other sites.
Don’t mean to criticize. Live and let live. Different strokes for different folks. Just not my bag. Of course, most of it is B.S.anyway. Fantasy wanking from men like me who come here to get our jollies.
