Here are a few real life examples from our experience:

"Okay, we can try pretending you're somebody else ONCE, but I don't want to do it for real."

Then, a few months later, when she had the other man in mind, she met him for lunch several times. When I asked her if she wanted things to go farther with him, she insisted - "No, he and I are just good friends, honest."

But, several months after that they became much more than just "good friends" and ended up in bed (at our house) while I was away on business.

What are some things that your wives said while they were still in the reluctant stage?

kennyboy82.....so true! Looking back, you can just see the progression. Then there came the times when I became "the invisible man." Whenever he was around, it was like I didn't exist - even in public. She would touch his forearm when she talked with him, hang on his every word and they'd exchange special glances.
