Why do so many people who attempt to be writers forget the most basic of things like punctuation, capitols, run on sentences, paragraphs, etc.?

It sounded like a hot story Chill, and I would have read it all if I could have read it. I understand that not everyone is fluent in english, but there are all sorts of grammer and spell checks and other assitants in word processors nowadays.

Please, if you are going to go through all the effort of writing and pouring you heart and imagination into a story, use the help that is available to you in any word processor and make it readable to the mainly english speaking audience you are trying to reach.

I recognize that this is a pet peve of mine, but it's really frustrating to the reader to try and decipher what the author is trying to say when you are looking forward to a hot story and there it is in front of you, but you can't read the damn thing. It's like feeding a starving dog a rubber bone :P

Ok, I'll stop ranting now....carry on.

Thanks for your input HammerHeart and I take your point it is most annoying.But lets just say the excitement of reliving this story while putting it into print probably made me forget a few things.

Thankfully other than yourself the response to my post was positive so I guess that puts you in the minority in the enjoyment stakes.

oh and by the way I think you will find that the correct spelling for the word peve is in fact PEEVE so you know what follows now............When turning yourself into a critic in future make sure you are whiter than white
