On May 29, some ignorant moron created a thread here entitled "Even With Power Niggers are Worthless."

This permister is apparently filled with anger and hatred and not very bright.

I suggest that if we spent a little more time talking about nice things that people do and spent a little less time on anger and hatred, we might me better off. I don't mean just on this site, I mean everywhere.

If you agree with me, I ask a simple favor.

Type a response like I believe in the quality of all people. I believe that all people have value. I believe that all people should be judged on their own merits.

If you don't feel confident as a writer, just say yes, but please stand up and be counted.

Please, this thread is not meant as a place to continue the debate about racism. Please do not post those comments here.

Why am I doing this? Maybe it will help remove the stench of that other thread from this site.

Objecting to ignorance bigotry and hatred is never namby pamby. One of the reamisters that bigotry and hatred sometimes flourish is because people of good conscience are afraid to stand up and speak their minds.

If we would just think of this before we allow our anger to controle us, I feel that this world would be a better place.

First of all, I said that I wasn't going to post anymore stories. I didn't say that i wasn't going to respond to comments made. I did respond to your comments about being a spoiled young.

I believe that racism and hate speech have to be confronted. If they are not confronted I believe that the people who make those comments become increasingly bold. they need to know that there are people that strongly disagree with them.

Russian wife I know that you have also been following my stories for some time now. For the past eight months I have written on the average of two hours per day for this site.

I have made a significant investment of time and effort in this site. I do not leave it lightly and do not insult me by calling my efforts to maintain the integrity of this site the actions of a spoilded young.

I still have faith, but I do think its time to stop and have a take. The point has been made. I know that I am starting to repeat myself.

There are people here who think I'm an asshole and there are people here who I think are assholes. Were not going to change each other.

The message has been sent that there are many people who do not agree with them and that is important. Racism flourishes in an environment where people do not take a stand against it.

I am going back to what I enjoy doing. Yesterday I started a new story called Megan and Benny. I am working on the first section now.

Later today I played 27 holes of golf. Life is good.

I still haven't figured out where I am going to post Megan and Benny and I am not sure it would be fair to Mr. Bigcuckold to advertise that fact here.

I don't understand why you feel so confronted by an opinion. You have posted some great films on your thread and I have thanked you for them more than once. I don't feel confronted by your opinion but I am English and perhaps I simply don't understand.

I do though, think it is wrong to assume that all people of a particular country or colour or religion can be grouped as any sort of stereotype. This works both ways. It just as foolish to say that all arabs are terrorists as it is to assume that all citizens of the USA are gun toting rednecks with no understanding of world politics.

We are both citizens of the world, both lucky to be born and living in countries which have fought to preserve freedom. Not all our fights have been just however. Our leaders have sometimes not always got it right. I mean, we really screwed it up in 1776 didn't we.

To live peacefully in any society is to accept compromise sometimes. To accept that one man's opinion can sometimes be so hateful that it can stir up a violent reaction back. My question to you is this. I assume that you wouldn't go this far with your family or your neighbour, but you seem happy to go this far on the net. Just where do you draw the line. Where do say that so far is OK but beyond that it doesn't matter. This is a microcosm of how some people view the USA from the outside. I have to say I don't because of people like goodhusband but I, and the rest of the world await your answer.

I don't care what statistics you cite. I don't care what web sites you reference. My only point all along is that all individuals have a right to be judged on the merits of their own successes and failures, not on attributes generalized to a group that they belong to. You don't seem to be able to understand that concept.

I don't care if you come up with statistics that there are more unemployed black mans or more irresponsible black ladys. Each black man or lady has the right to be judged on the merits of their own abilities and efforts as parents.

Doing otherwise is the heart and soul of prejudice, which of course is a variation ot the words pre judge, to make judgements about people before you get to know them as individuals.

I continue to resist the opportunity to make rude permisteral comments about you. James you leave yourself open to so many of them. That is not my interest and I choose not to do that. My permisteral opinion of you is irrelevant.

You can call it a "Freedom of speech" issue all you want, but that's a copout. For some, it means "Freedom to be an Asshole", which is not the spirit in which it was included in the Bill of Rights to begin with.
