CB 6000S A ring issues

We got one from ebay for less than half the price and knew it was most likely a Chinese knock off and have read about them. I believe that on a real one the A rings are a solid cross section of plastic and the cheap knock offs are a "H" cross section to save plastic????. I remember reading somewhere that someone was able to take a particular epoxy and fill in the groove to stop that from happening, but I now have a welt that stands up about 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch that is turning black and blue and HURTS from being pushed into that groove on the ring!!!!!! We have a knock of CB6000. I have found that a good silicone lube applied a few times a day does wonders. Without the silicone based lube I get the welt, with it I can be locked for weeks...

I use Johnsons Baby Jell, yes there is a jell. It works wonders. That is a chaffing mark. They hurt but will go away if you leave it alone. I use a 6000s off of ebay but it has a solid fill ring. Duchess then switched me to a larger metal cage for ******** in as to not be painful in the morning.

Thanks for the comments. I have started using a silicone lub and have used a larger spacer and it seems to be helping.
