Thank you to all who have posted -- I'm sorry I haven't had time to put together any more caps for the past month or two. Other things have competed for my time, including seeing all the new work by so many talented cappers.

Also, finding really great pics to cap has been tough (at least for me). I haven't figured out how to easily add blank space for the text using Gimp, so I tend to forego using pics that don't have blank space already in them, which eliminates a lot of great pics, especially closeups. If anyone can help me with this, please PM me -- it will mean a raft of new caps from me.

These new caps are great. I don't know anything about Gimp, so I can't help you there. I do my caps with MS Paint. Seems like kids' stuff, but it's simple to just pull out an edge and add text there. Keep it up!

1. Image->Canvas Size...
2. Click on the little chain link button to unlink width and height (unless you want to add space on the side AND the top or bottom).
3. Increase the width or height depending on where you want the extra space to be.
4. In the preview area, drag the existing picture to adjust where the blank space is.
5. In the "Resize layers" dropdown, select "All layers" so that your blank space has a white background instead of transparent.
6. Click the Resize button.
7. Make us a raft of new caps, 'cause these are awesome.

Oh, and by the way, out of this last batch, "Helpless" was my favorite. So pretty, so intimate...
