Do you believe that you could befriend us/her under the pretence of being a work related contact before the 12th April? Or perhaps call around as a handyman to quote on some fictitious work and then call around after I am out of the country to really finish the job! I will then be completely out of the way for a whole week. Read my other posts for an overview of our situation. She is up for the idea in principle and in fantasy only at the moment. Don't believe it will take very much to convince her but it obviously has to be done slowly, tactfully and carefully. Thank you gentlemen!

It is either overtly patronising or just blatantly obvious and therefore insulting to my intelligence. My wife is a grown woman and ultimately able to decide things for herself. I would not force her to do anything and, unless I lock her away in the basement, it is possible that she might meet another man any day of the week in the street or online and then invite them around for a week in my absence anyway. With all due respect you do not know the full situation that my wife and I have at home nor have you been privy to any of the conversations that we have had regarding this matter. I have already had a couple of serious responses to this posting. Many thanks to those guys, but really hoping for some Bulls closer to west London (at least for the moment).
