Obviously I'm not the couple of this tread who you addressed, but I have a thought or two for you since you are looking for info rather than stories. I hope hwchubby does answer your question though.
It sounds to me ike you two have more of a "hotwife" type relationship in mind. I'm not using that as the female side of a cuckold relationship who's often called a cuckoldress these days, but to denote a different style, or a different side of a spectrum.
This site has very high volume, and a large number of extreme cuckold relationship stores etc. Some are no doubt true as I'm quite sure this mostly recruiting /ad type thread, but also ongoing account thread is - but I and a whole lot of other people who've read around here for a while are quite sure that a whole lot of the stories presented as true and pictures presented as those of wives or girlfriends are respectively fantasies and pics of pros or "amateurs" (cottage industry paid internet porn), posted by single men or men who've been unable to convince their wives or gf's or too scared by the relationship and other risks to try very hard or at all. As one example you'll often see 'I saw that pic on ___ porn site, or "why did you steal my wife's pic?! (Generally a hottie rather than a hardcore type shot.)
I.e., I'm suggesting that this isn't the best site for figuring out what tends to work given desires and fears on each side, and the down the road actual as opposed to imagined consequences are likely to be given different paths. It would take to long to go to far into what I have in mind. It's possible to glean insigts into that here, but you have to have pretty savvy filters, and it's often quite a challenge.
A much better place in my opinion to ask for advice and to read accounts which are MUCH more likely to be true, and where you can even hear sometimes of things gone wrong, is www.ourhotwives.org. There is plenty of adventure recounting and support/approval gathering there as well, but also a lot of advice asking and given there from those more experienced. As well there are separate hotwife and cuckold forums (with the hotwife side being somewhat more active, though both are active. There's also quite a bit of posting by the same individuals on both forums, especially those who's style has become something of a straddle. As well people's definitions of the "boundary" differ. (I consider myself clearly on the hotwife relationship side.)
In simple stupid terms, it's been my observation that if you pursue what's clearly a hotwife relationship, yes will have and likely will continue to have a "normal" sex life between the two of you. I.e. you do with each other everything or almost everything as she does with other partners, if not necessarily with entirely or sometimes at all the same feel. Wives on both sides of this lifestyle are almost certainly going to want and get lots more of a wide variety of sex, but on the hotwife side husbands too are likely to have lots more and more intense sex, INCLUDING FUCKING with their wives.
The more you go clearly cuckold the greater the danger that you will progressively NOT have what you are calling a "normal" sex life together -- which can and does go so far as usual or even complete penetrative chastity for the husband, usually in stages, and sometimes even further, e.g. no sexual intimacy at all for him (see e.g. the content and advocating Paul Pines of that forum's cuckold forum and before that in Literotica.)
