in the evenings i'm lucky if i can load the pages.

The thing is, it varies. A few days ago, it wouldn't load at all, but right now for example it's nice and fast.

Usually it's fine. But lately there have been issues.

i use firefox and the other night I had the same problem of slow loading speeds, i cleaned out all my cookies and history and so far it has seemed to help

I use Firefox and don't have a problem with speed. I do however have a problem in that once I log into the website, my screen decreases in size where I have a hard time reading the fonts. Anyone else having that problem with version 3.08?

I'm still on dial up out here in the "jungle". So a 3 hour download is common. But I'm a patient fellow. (Hell, it took 21 years to get my wife to Swing)

Slow to load at most times, compared to other sites. Especially in the evening high volume hours. Opening pictures especially. File downloads are fine from the video bank.

tonights bad for me, esp. pics, but its the busiest time of the night so it comes with the territory

Last day or so, has been horrible! Normally very good though.

Generally the site is good except (well you did ask):-
Returning to previous pages can takes seconds.
Many pictures take a long time to appear and then are so over enlarged that only a part of the picture fits on the screen.

seems to me chat and site slow waaaaay down around 0500 server time and start becoming "gummed up" and very slow to respond..

To imnpmpimwc3, when you see that the pic is going to be large close it straight away then right click on the pic and choose "open link in new window" it will now load quicker and the right size for veiwing.

Overall, for me, the site loads O.K., but there are times where the site loads very slowly. My main sources of frustration with this site is the frequent "database configuration error" messages I get when trying to load various forums and also I frequently encounter a problem where I login, go to a forum featuring pictures and the picture window will popup with the message in it telling me I am not logged in, so I will go back out to the main page, login again and have the same exact problem occur. This happens multiple time back to back until the problem subsides.

Hi MrBig, generally have no problems with site. I'm usually on broadband so that helps. Currently browsing via my mobile phone and still ok Thanks for a great site. PJ.

It has a long latency. Once it gets started, it goes fast. Same with pages and photos.

Small & getting smaller

Lately its starting to really load slow. It used to be fine.

I wish you would fix the speed, add more bandwidth. I have broadband and know my connection is fast, but site is slow.

At 5 PM PST (3 AM GMT) the site would not load at all, after thre minutes the page was still not fully loaded. This happens all the time, very slow. Your ISP and or server load needs fixing!

There are problems, but I can't find any common circumstances to help you track it down. Sorry.

Sometimes pages don't load, or take several retries. Other times it's super fast.

Most of the problems are after 21:30 GMT, and last for perhaps two hours.

I'd like to add my thanks for all your hard work.
