Informing Mr. Big there's a problem with that may be attributable to the hardware upgrade isn't demanding; how else is MrB to know.

Told MrB long ago that this is one of the best sites of its kind on the web.

But it's still very slow.

C'mon MBC just posted it on the third that the start of next week it will be fixed.....I'm sure we can all handle it until then. It's always been fast considering it's a forum and so many of them are usually slow to load....his credit is good.

I'm just glad to know that the delays are on that end and not mine. It kind of reminds me of having dial-up internet service some years back....

This is a great site that has always been very fast and reliable - so I'm sure the bugs will get worked out. I liked the suggestion that MBC post a schedule of some sort to the "front page" of the website so we all have some idea what to expect.

I'm afraid it is "somehat" slow indeed. But that doesn't keep me away from here, because this site still rocks. It would be pleasant though if the problem could be fixed.

One other thing. I was used to be able to type my name the way it is supposed to be: r, e, n, e-acute. However, the e-acute doesn't work anymore. It's a minor problem, but do you think you can fix that too when you've got the time?

If you're experiencing slowness, its probably because your computer has halfway decent virus protection. The so-called "upgrade" was the implementation of an adware/spybot application which loads malicious software on your machine.

If you want to speed things up, you can disable your spyware protection. However this will result in a shitload of very annoying pop-ups and page redirections. Its also a nightmare to undo.

When we're told that things will be better early next week, that means that's when this sites contract with the spyware company will expire.

I know this site needs to generate revenue, but this is a real shitty thing to do to your members.

It is terrible!! Since the upgrade...I have supported this site for a long time but have had to log off this week as it is unbelievably slow.
